Your child goes through periods of rapid growth and change as they develop. Well child exams are an important part of your child’s health from their birth through young adulthood.
Each well-child exam includes preventive care which includes a complete physical evaluation, vitals and vaccinations according to our vaccine schedule. As your child grows additional testing will include hearing and vision tests, observation and assessment of age appropriate developmental milestones. The exams assist in identifying any developmental concerns or pediatric sub-specialty care that your child may need.
Regular well-child visits allow for Dr. Brigman to closely monitor your child’s growth and development while building a strong relationship between her and your child.
This relationship is important as your child goes into adolescence and young adulthood where the exam includes evaluation of medical and dental well being along with nutrition, physical and mental health.
