Congratulations! We hope to partner with you as your child’s Pediatrician.
Upon arrival at the hospital, please let the staff know Dr. Brigman is your child’s Pediatrician. They will send us all the information regarding your baby’s birth and stay at the hospital.
After discharge from the hospital, we will typically want to see your newborn in our clinic within two days. Please call us at 503-554-0036 to schedule that appointment prior to leaving the hospital.
Important: Be sure to inform your insurance company that your newborn has arrived! If you have difficulties with securing health insurance for your baby, please call our office.
Some OB/Gyn providers offer circumcision for male babies while they are in the hospital. If you prefer to have your baby circumcised after discharge, this procedure can be performed in our clinic by Dr. Whittaker within the first two weeks of life. Please let us know prior to leaving the hospital if your newborn needs an appointment for circumcision.
